Worth It / 16th May Interlude Lyrics by Chad McBad

To Whom It May Concern (The E.P)

2023

Here I go again
I'm crying for my girl and friend
She's the only I want I won't lie or pretend
Though she left me, if you hear this girl just message and
We can talk and figure out if we can work again
[Chorus]
Yes I know that I am not perfect
I just really thought that I was worth it
You would try and stay for me but then
You lost feelings but I know what happened
Yes I know that I am not perfect
I just really thought that I was worth it
You would try and stay for me but then
[Interlude]
Uhm
At some point I sit and think am I really living in this reality?
You know the way things just changed had me thinking somebody might have cast a spell on me, well I mean if you were in my shoes you’d probably think the same but then also I then figured out that people are always gonna be people
I know I'm not perfect
I've never claimed to be a day in my life
I lost that one person that I'd run to most for comfort
My best friend, my bummy, My lilo, my Everything
Till this day I still don't understand
I'm always accountable for my actions when I’m told where I went wrong
If you truly love someone and want to keep them by your side
I'm sure you'd do anything to ensure that they remain there
And because of that
I suffered terribly trying to get my things together hurriedly because I needed to see the one I loved most
Irregardless of all the efforts
No matter how much I tried
I was lied to, confused and left not knowing what I did wrong or how I could fix it
Like whoever said time heals lied. And then comes closure
I feel like it's really subjective to people
But for me
I've always said communication was key
Like It's so unfair when there's none. I think it's needed by everyone because it's one thing to leave after communication and making someone understand why you're leaving rather than having someone wallow at night thinking about how they aren't good enough or aren't significant to deserve an explanation or to be told the truth
It's only so obvious that you'd have been replaced but then they try to find a way to sugar coat it and all of that
I'm humble enough to know like I'm replaceable but also wise enough to know you'll never find somebody like me again , You know it too
It's all good though
I just really thought that it'd be different and the promises would actually mean something this time
Like I may sound like I'm crying , maybe I am ? or maybe It’s a cold?
Who knows ? haha
Just Be careful with who you guys build with Always safe guard your heart , Always!
Never showing this side of me again to anyone
I'm gone
So yeah aye
Peace
