Government Banned Lyrics by Cheech Petro

“Progression.”

2013

(Verse)
They say listen to the ones in debt
16 trillion homie an we ain't budge it
Taxes taken out and they don't even touch it
It's like we forced to give them money for nothing do you sense it
Rappers and movie actors pay taxes every worker with a paycheck pay taxes
Every drug dealer that get caught pay taxes
You telling me decreasing is not a fuckin action? I'm asking
Something feel a little fishy and I smell it if u ever smelled pussy they pussy they hate me but never overlook me
Cause my presence is like the rookie AI nighas never seen these fly guys
Oorai roll up slow like a drive by
Windows up case the devil got a side eye
Glock nine splat a Little nigha like Tye dye That side iron
Praying and hoping bad days fly by
Until then I do it for innocents In the pen... itentiaries Cannabis makes no sense to me
Regulated in the west, they killing over it in the east
One thing i learned this system ain't about peace
Just crooked ways doing evil plays with our pay
But money is the roof of all evil
Cause its freely given to Government Officials
Im official
(Chorus)
Is the government helping us or are we helping them?
Is this what life suppose to be or am I in they REM? (Repeat)
Can i live my dream? Or do i live theirs?
