Change Things Lyrics by CheerfulStriker

Theze Are 4 You

2017

[Intro: UU]
Yeah, UU, I'm goin in'
[Hook: UU]
My homie was just tryna help me
Teach me how to get the ladies
He wanted me to stop being lazy
And just make her my baby
I tried to tell him that it wasn't the right time
He told me I should tell you, but it didn't feel right
But now it's out and you know how I'm feeling
I just hope this doesn't change things
[Verse 1: UU]
Now wait a minute, my homie said that I should talk to you
Now normally I don't listen to what he tells me to
But he was like I should just go ahead and do it
In hindsight, I shouldn't have went through it
Few months ago, I had already came up with a plan
To take things slow, there was no rush for me to be your man
I kinda knew that it wasn't gon be the right move
Cause either way in this situation, I would lose
I did it anyway, thinking things weren't gonna change
Or maybe it was cause you told me that it'd stay the same
I don't know what was going on inside my brain
But being pressured by everyone drove me insane
I usually shoot for the sky but I shot for a star
I didn't know something that looked so close could be so far
But at this point, girl, I really don't know where we are
Looking at it, from how we stand, it's my homies fault, but
[Hook: UU]
My homie was just tryna help me
Teach me how to get the ladies
He wanted me to stop being lazy
And just make her my baby
I tried to tell him that it wasn't the right time
He told me I should tell you, but it didn't feel right
But now it's out and you know how I'm feeling
I just hope this doesn't change things
[Verse 2: Yaubryon]
You caught feelings but the feeling wasn't mutual
Your homie told you not to worry and just let me know
Said you was scared, don't know how to get your point across
Why were you scared if nothing was gonna change at all?
What about my ex? Well he's still in the picture
I just want somebody that's gon' treat me better
I can't say that you're gonna do that
That's why I hide from you and I dry text back
I don't wanna say no cause it might mess things up
And I don't wanna say yes to something I don't want
This is throwing me off wish it all would end
We don't gotta be together, let's just be friends
I don't know about you but I am tired of this friction
It's got me sitting thinkin did I lead you on, no
Your homie, he gave you bad advice
That's what happens when you listen and don't think twice
[Hook 2: Yaubryon & UU]
You should've never trusted your homies
When it came to the ladies
You wanted me to be your baby
Woah, stop, this crazy
I tried to tell him that it wasn't the right time
He told me I should tell you, but it didn't feel right
But now it's out, and you know how I'm feeling
I just hope this doesn't change things
