Hook:
They Ain't See Me when I'm round
It's almost like I don't exist!
(So?)
So I'm Creaming up some clouds
To match the air's Smokey mist!
I know it's not fair! ......
(But?)
-My brudda always told me;
There'd be days like this!!!!!!
(Where?)
They; Ain't-See-Me;
Nor; Hear-Me; -
‘Less, I; Ain't-Here!
They-Say-We; See;
-More, Clearly;
When, The; Rain-Clears!
They-Say-We; See;
-More, Clearly;
When, The; Rain-Clears!
They-Say-We; See;
-More, Clearly;
When, The; Rain-Clears!
Verse 1:
I was Thirteen;
When I'd first been
To belhus chase;
I let a mate;
Sell me fags
Through the first weeks;
Firstly
He was just a mate of a mate, But;
As time passed;
He became one of my great ones!
We'd wake up
For school
And on the walk
We'd blaze bud;
Aftershave tucked;
Straight fucked
At the gates
Tryna Shape up;
He gave up
Weed and stopped thugging
When we left school;
I said that you were less cool
But thought none the less of you
His cousin started coming; But
We started seeing see less of Lew
His cousin and I
Had lots in common; like..
-Abandonment would sadden him..
-He Never saw his dad much!
-His pEx-Girls we're bad luck;
-And friends? -He hadn't had luck! :/
-He was challenging; to, handle; plus
-He hadn’t really had much
And, Having-Him; Start Hang with us;
That had meant he manned up!
Although he was voiceless
‘til we met;
My G;
Get this;
I knew he felt as pissed, as I
(with the world)
When He
Said this:
Hook
“They; Ain't-See-Me;
Nor; Hear-Me; -
Less, I; Ain't-Here!”
-“Bro...
They-Say-We; See;
-More, Clearly;
When, The; Rain-Clears!”
“They-Say-We; See;
-More, Clearly;
When, The; Rain-Clears!”
“They-Say-We; See;
-More, Clearly;
When, The; Rain-Clears!”
Verse 2:
He started college
And we lost touch;
Though neither one acknowledged
That we cocked up;
And So
A couple years passed;
Then he popped up;
At college,-
-on my inbox; but
With bars; and they were hot!
Ahh!
... See!
I remember when he told me
That he rapped;
And how I got him sorted;
I took him round the homie Zoney's
& Assured-his; ..
Ish'.. got recorded
I wanted him to aim
But I pushed too hard;
A year passed;
I got a message:
“look.. new bars!”
Although I though it would be torture;
I taught him what i could;
But of course the more I taught him;
A slaughter's; all that stood! :/
Because, for sure the lessons turned; ..
To orders; & Its awful..
Cos it's almost like he learned..
But never understood .. :/
Although the aims became distorted..
We slaved & paid a fortune;
Resorting in extortion
‘til we thwarted ourselves
And in-that order..
Once again; became exhausted
We couldn’t afford to
Pile our plates so enormous cah
Hook:
They Ain't See Us when we're down;
It's almost like We don't exist!
(So?)
So, start Creaming up some clouds
To match the air's Smokey mist!
(G!)
-You know I always told you;
There'd be days like this!!!!!!
-You know I always told you;
There'd be days like this!!!!!!
Verse 3:
Because of me;
When he was clueless;
He was shown how!
He even moved
Into my own house;
He told me he
Would hold down;
He could and should’ve
Asked if we could slow down!
...
“I'm pissed, Gage!
... Not at what we're doing man..
-It's great!
It's just that since I've been away
I know that I don’t
Wanna go at THIS pace!
Lets just:
Roll up a spliff
Sit down
& Smoke the Piff, mate!?”
It’s a bit late, I know..
But the mixtapes out now!
So if you really left this game;
And our crowd; this way...
Then let us know;
Even if it's that you're letting go;
Altogether; bro
Just pick up the telephone
For God's sake!
C'mon mate...
I always been the only one
You know who’s NOT fake!
When you were weak;
I got brave;
I deserve at least an answer
Cah I know it's not rain
Cos I told you, blud...
Hook:
“I Always See it when you're down!
It’s almost like we’re both the same!
Let's keep rolling up these spliffs
‘til the clouds go away...”
-You know I always told you;
There'd be days like this!
