The Worst Is Yet to Come Lyrics by Coldsteel

Freakboy

1992

Lean on me...you're pushing yourself!
The wrong answer...no excuse for your actions!
Learn to hate others from beginning of time
Our peer groups have nothing to say, or do
To end the social horror
Bigotry is nothing compared to our other problems that depend on conformity
Stop all the fighting now!
Stop all the yelling about racial slurs!
Ignorance gets us when we’re young
Brainwashed into thinking erratically
No one to turn to? No, no, no
No one to break through? No, no, no
Can we mix and match this lonely world?
You and me, together we'll always be
Fighting for our eternity!
Chorus:
Together as one
Instead of fighting each other, we'll fight as one!
The worst is yet to come!
Say what you will, no need to compare!
Together as one! I said it...the worst is yet to come!
Here to stay once it has begun
Only one way that we can prevent it
Stop all the fighting now!
Some of the people shout! Racist pig!
La-la land is not just for kids
All adults should set a good example!
No one to turn to? No, no, no
No one to break through? No, no, no
Can we mix and match our own world?
You and me, together we’ll always be
Fighting for eternity
(Chorus)
You ought to regret the hate, the pain, the change
Your whole life, ah, let it all out!
The fire's burning, your heart tells you, can't you see
C-c-c-can't you see, it's time to forget!
There is no telling who's right, who's wrong, who cares
It's no game when playing with lives!
Lots of work, sweat, pain, tears, blood, and care to reach the final goal:
Try to live in peace and harmony!
Hatred grows...
The worst is yet to come!
More is yet to come!
Worse is yet to come!
Together, together forever!
Together, together forever!
Forever, and ever! As one!!
