Boombah the Snowman Lyrics by Colin Buchanan

Aussie Christmas with Bucko & Champs, Vols. 1 & 2

0

Now Boombah the Snowman, he weighed 300 pounds-oh
The rolliest, polliest snowman in the town-oh
And Boombah did not melt away as all snowpersons should
No, in fact his weighed ballooned out from eating Christmas pud
Now the first thing you notice about Boombah was his size-oh
He had a special talent for munching Christmas pies-oh
Then one day while chomping on a fruit mince pie with sauce
Boombah said "I'm going on a weight-reduction course"
He packed a Christmas hamper and took off down the street
Drawing cries of "Go Boombah" from everyone he'd meet
Then Boombah found a store that beckonеd him to enter
The sign said "Ovеr-sized Snowperson's Weight-Reduction Centre"
Now when it came to weight reduction Boombah was a cynic
Till Gloria, the manager showed him round the clinic
She said "Don't worry Boombah, we'll get you fighting fit
The way to lose a pound or two is melt a little bit
She said "As far as snowmen go
You're not even fat
There's lots of porky snowmen 'round
Who'd love to look like that
So Boombah left the building
With a joyful stride
He marched down to the village square
His snow-heart filled with pride
He parked beneath the Christmas tree
And there he stands each year
Boombah the Snowman
Proudly spreading Christmas cheer
