A Matter of Perspective Part 2 Lyrics by Colliding Parallels

A Matter of Perspective

2016

[Verse 1]
Am I the only one?
To see it all that way
It has already been gone
But you're still kneeling to pray
[Verse 2]
For those who seek the truth
Enlightenment
Its substance is transient
Nothing’s absolute
[Verse 3]
In the absence of facts
You reach to someone
You reach to something
A perception of your acts
Hiding in a red herring
[Verse 4]
A false dichotomy
The appeal is too strong
But the line is so thin
You can't ignore what's in between
Can’t you peel off this second skin?
[Chorus]
Where do you find this peace inside?
Can I let it all go, just for a while?
I must find my way
Through the vagueness of the gray
Is this really a matter of perspective?
[Verse 5]
Reason's taking its toll
Giving up the burden of proof
It's a part of me I can't control
Always finding an outlook
Am I the only one?
To see it all that way
[Verse 6]
I've salved myself from this, but why am I still sad?
I've come to my limits, I need to leave before I go mad
[Chorus]
Where do you find this peace inside?
Can I let it all go, just for a while?
I must find my way
Through the vagueness of the gray
Is this really a matter of perspective?
[Verse 7]
I've reached this day
A sense of peace to embrace
Seeing all the shades of gray
I looked to other way
Come what may
And join the alternate part of me
