serious person Lyrics by corook

serious person (part 1)

2023

[Verse 1]
I'm not a serious person
When it comes to serious things
I'll make a fart joke when we're in a fight
Act like you hate it, but I see you smile
I'm not the cleanliest person
I'll leave my food in the sink
I'll even say things that push you away
But sometimes I don't fuckin' think
[Chorus]
But I'm gettin' serious, seriously scared
We'll end up too serious with gray in our hair
Have serious bills and give serious stares
Seriously wonder how we ended up herе
I'm not a serious person
But I want you seriously
[Verse 2]
I'm not a sеrious person
Forever is funny to me
There's so many people who don't stick around
But you just feel different to me
Everything in me is fighting a joke
Your parents are perfect and mine are fucked up
Don't have an example of what we should be
I don't want you to cook while I'm watchin' TV
I don't want you to stay when you know you should leave
Want you to choose you before you choose me
'Cause when you do, it'll be sweet
I just want you seriously
[Chorus]
I'm gettin' serious, seriously scared
That we'll end up too serious with gray in our hair
Have serious bills and give serious stares
And seriously wonder how we ended up here
I'm not a serious person
But I want you seriously
