A Song About a Skeleton Lyrics by CricketTheGuy

Thinking About Bugs

2021

{Verse 1}
Skeletal Sam really had it rough
But when it came to love
He never had the guts
He’s scared of rejection
He’s scared you’re scared of him
But, he never let it get under his skin
{Verse 2}
But when he met a sexy skeleton girl, oh
It saved his game and
Changed his world
He felt so alive, yeah
He fеlt so undead
When she grabbеd him by the boney face
And this is what she said:
{Chorus}
I love you a skele-ton
If this is a funeral, then you’re the fun
I hope you could handle all these stupid half-backed puns
‘Cause, I love you a skele-ton
{solo}
{Verse 3}
And even on days when I’m sick
You look at me and think I’m sick
A virus isn't the real reason I’m blushing
Now, if I were to die, just burn me up and let me fry
But keep my bones intact
Keep them preserved upon this rack
Some day when you have kids
They’ll take my skull and take my ribs
Help me become useful as a kindergarten arts and crafts
They’ll take me to you with their hands as my new brain
Open up my jaw and this is what I’ll say:
{Chorus}
I love you a skele-ton
If this is a funeral, then you’re the fun
I hope you can handle all these stupid half-baked puns
‘Cause I love you a skele-ton
I love you a skele-ton, yea-ah
So, what’s a funeral without the fun?
(It’s just "a eral")
I hope you understand that I hate these stupid puns
But, I love you a skele-ton
