Waiting on acceptance still, for a college education
Liquor store amenities, for when your spirits low
Subtle suicidal tendencies don’t go disappearin' though
He worries from a distance witness of her slow decline
Knowing deep down inside

(Now) He faces complications, some unrealistic dreams
Long distance relations is it an idealistic tease?
All support is mighty scarce for the goals he must establish
Like a horror movie cast his inner circle simply vanished
Weakness and abandonment, these two kept their companionship
Entranced in one another as if by the wave of a medallion
They thoroughly relate despite viewing with different eyes
Reservoirs evaporate and they’ve provided liquid life
A desert oasis, they almost dehydrated
Sought out Eden in their faces, desires for migration
Especially when they debate, and after tempers flare
A bottle rocket filled with rage explodes, “you’re never there!”
No familiar embrace, underneath her pillow case
Just ever expanding thoughts like the realm of space
As I lie beneath my sheets, uncertain what I can do
And it’s myself I hate because
