RMDY//This will make you feel better Lyrics by Crooked Ruler

0

[K.A.S.: First Verse]
Take a trip inside my troubled mind
Devil working double time, wrote it in a couple rhymes
I got a bottle but some things you just can't remedy
Like the imminent death of my son haunting my memory
These peasants out to get me, paranoia got me edgy
At the edge of growing deadly, that’s a double-edged machete
Y’all Ruined everything that’s why a made a wall
And pray that I escape before I burn my Wings and Fall
I got my ways but you know better than to call me crazy
Why couldn’t you see/sea I was the first man to build a navy
Now I'm stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea
Trynna choose between blind revenge and my lunacy
It’s crazy how with all this power I'm still powerless
To the complexities of fatherhood feeding me cowardice
My love and patience runnin out just like my hours is
And prayin to myself he find peace where the flowers is
[Guilty Measures: Second Verse]
I am locked at the cellar
I am right at the center
Of these thoughts
And my mind is in stellar mode
As I'm keeping this hope
While I'm crumbling into the darkness
Pass me this rope
While they gliding, I'm still sliding these slopes
Hear the serpents hissing, sizzling
Like his brain waiting for the pain to stop
And the medicine to drop
No waves, no whistling
It's been months, since I seen the sun
Rising on the horizon
Or setting on the bay
With the waves glistening
Beheaded snakes in the middle of the cave
That I'm inhibiting
Tryna bring him back to life so
I can help him sin again
Now I'm witnessing the cure
And it's effect keeps quickening
When I hear the jingles in the lock
Escape is imminent
[Chorus]
A little under the weather?
Take a sip of this, it'll make you feel better
Out there you still gotta rule cruelly, soothed, brutally
Spill blood more red than the wine in this cellar
A little under the weather?
Take a sip of this, it'll make you feel better
And everybody saying that power's in the youth
But if cruelty's been rooted in then power ain't the truth
