Prayin’ for Deliverance Lyrics by Crossway

Walk On Water Kind of Day

0

Nebuchadnezzar was in a state
'Cause he could not have his way
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego
Would not bow down and pray
They stood tall for their God
Knowing of their fate
Trusting Him to deliver them
In death or in life that day
So, when we're standin' in the furnace
Prayin' for deliverance
Take a look around
And He'll be there with us
Guarding from the flame
And the fire of guilt and shame
Prayin' for deliverance
Prayin' for deliverance
Paul and Silas had a message
That they had to tell
In it was the key that freed
The captive soul from hell
Greater shackles bind the heart
Of sinful man today
Than the chains that held
Their feet and hands
So they could not run away
So, when we're sittin' in a prison
Prayin' for deliverance
We can be assured
And know that He has given us
Freedom from our sin
Peace and rest in Him
Prayin' for deliverance
Prayin' for deliverance
When I look around
And every side looks like defeat
I turn my eyes toward heaven
And pray, "Lord, deliver me"
"Deliver me"
Well, the Bible tells that the coming
Of the Son of God is at hand
The time is near when wickedness
Is spread across the land
A greater need for righteous men
This world has never know
But I will not fear for He'll soon appear
And I'm ready to go home
So, I'll be kneeling at the altar
Prayin' for deliverance
Hoping that the Lord
Will soon be here a-gettin' us
But until that day
When He calls His church away
I'll be clinging to His promise
Prayin' for deliverance
Standing on the Rock
And knowin' He'll deliver us
He's always come through
But 'til He comes for me and you
I'll be prayin' for deliverance
Prayin' for deliverance
Prayin' for deliverance
Prayin' for deliverance, hey
Prayin', prayin'
Prayin' for deliverance
Prayin' for deliverance, yeah
Prayin', prayin'
Prayin' for deliverance
Oh, I'll be prayin'
Prayin', prayin'
Prayin' for deliverance
Everybody's prayin' yeah
Prayin', prayin'
Prayin' for deliverance
Momma's prayin'
Prayin', prayin'
Daddy's prayin'
Prayin' for deliverance
Better be prayin', yeah
Prayin', prayin'
Prayin' for deliverance
Prayin', prayin'
Prayin' for deliverance
