BACK IN THE DAY Lyrics by Crow Mium

2022

[Chorus]
Life was better back in the day, now I’m saying “Bye, Bye”
Fake ones from back in the day, now they hitting my line
Stress really fucking with me, I just wanna get high
Said everything in my brain, now I’m gonna go lie
You just record everything, I didn’t wanna go live
Let me have my fucking peace, I wanna live my life
Everyone ahead of me, I’m finna’ do a nosedive
Pushing myself everyday, that’s just how I get by
[Verse]
Why do I compare myself to evеryone?
Calling me a bastard, I ain’t have no son
Dеath seem to come everyday, I’m inching toward the sun
Even though I said in the hook, “I ain’t tell no lies”
You know a lot about me, I am an outgoing guy
Sometimes I make mistakes, I know I’m not the only one
Praying that someone hears this, you’ll know what’s going on
Like I just lost my friends, knew they were just frauds
Share what I’m going through, I’m not the only one
Help you through your sadness, sorrows turn into fun
Hate what the drugs do, ya’ll be smoking your blunts
Clearly see I’m helpless, 2020 up in my eyes
