You know 'bout my depression but there's still more to my mental health
After track ten on part 1, it snuck back up on me in stealth
The day KS released, an anxiety attack had knocked me down
Was crying, terrified on the floor
If I release this, there’s no more
Hiding my weakness, open door
All of my secrets spoken for
I’m helping them, but I’m hurting more
My friends will think I'm weak for sure
They won’t see me, they’ll see my war
Will never be just like before
So I put the mask on and lied
I even acted excited
Pretended my life was fine
I hopped on Instagram live
Like I was hyped for the night
But it wasn't me, I resided
Deep enslaved in my mind
Dreamed every day that year of suicide
Dreamed every day about taking my life
To die would be gain but for me to live is for Christ
Knew I would never do it, never try
I left that possibility behind
After the first time
And I slept with those demons until I
Was done waiting
Now I’m in control of my mind
Depression still fights me from time to time
But hey, look I'm alive! And I got more chapters to write
So I type
