Blockstar Lyrics by Dave Flux

Nothing Lasts Forever

2021

[Chorus: Dave Flux]
Ain’t no rules in my block
Cause i killed all the cops
They talk 'bout the hood
But they get pop star
Recently i lost my dawg
I need to pray in a church
Fuck the job i need more love
Need more patient free my stars
Ain’t no rules in my block
Cause i killed all the cops
They talk bout the hood
But they get pop star
Recently i lost my dawg
I need to pray in a church
Fuck the job i need more love
Promised i won’t change too much
[Verse 1: Dave Flux]
I’m putting my face in the game
And i wanna feel all the thrill
Catch me in my room
I’m chasing my dreams that shit too real
You get jump out from my streets
Cause my shit is unreal
They show all those diamonds and chains on thе 'gram
But they ain't got a meal
Still remеmber every laughs on me
So if i get rich i’m gon laugh at you
I’ll whip new car in Beverly
But i’ll remember of my block too
They told me “Hey bro wassup”
But they ain’t my brothers
My mom says “Dave what up”
Where is my father
Shaking my head i was trappin
In my block we not friendly
Okay, i’m gon get rich and i hope tho
She jealous cause i fuck with another hoe
[Chorus: Dave Flux]
Ain’t no rules in my block
Cause i killed all the cops
They talk 'bout the hood
But they get pop star
Recently i lost my dawg
I need to pray in a church
Fuck the job i need more love
Need more patient free my stars
Ain’t no rules in my block
Cause i killed all the cops
They talk bout the hood
But they get pop star
Recently i lost my dawg
I need to pray in a church
Fuck the job i need more love
Promised i won’t change too much
[Verse 1: Tana Gobrazy]
We get busy with them glizzys aka we call em Glocks
FaceTime all my targets (yea)
That’s the way we photoshop
Smith & Wesson like a soda
Run up on me you’ll get popped
In the raq nobody’s safe, (uhh)
Anywhere you might get dropped
Heard he got hit on his turf
Hit dat boy up on his turf (yea)
And you getting no money (yea)
That’s a broke nigga alert
Heard you was talking to 12 (yea)
We know what really occurred (yea)
We the ones really observed
You a snitch you were referred
Niggas sneak dissing but won’t say that shit to my face man that shit is upsurd (yea)
Niggas be hating because I be flexing in shit I work for and deserve
Fucking these bitches that be having Nigga’s but wondering why they get curve
Cause ain’t rules on my block even tho we gon keep it preserved (yea)
[Chorus: Dave Flux]
Ain’t no rules in my block
Cause i killed all the cops
They talk 'bout the hood
But they get pop star
Recently i lost my dawg
I need to pray in a church
Fuck the job i need more love
Need more patient free my stars
Ain’t no rules in my block
Cause i killed all the cops
They talk bout the hood
But they get pop star
Recently i lost my dawg
I need to pray in a church
Fuck the job i need more love
Promised i won’t change too much
