The First Few Drops of Rain Lyrics by Dave Thomas Junior

2019

[Verse 1]
We’re never gonna think we’re ready
Looking down at all the clouds
Who’d have thought they’d be so heavy
When they all fell down
[Verse 2]
Gotta try to head towards it
It still gets you if you run
Don’t you try to cut the cord cause
You’ll just come undone
[Chorus]
All these wonders they ain’t ever twice the same
And most days I’m fine if I don’t hear your name
We were drawn and steady breathing taking aim
As we stood there, fell thе first few drops of rain
[Verse 3]
Now that I don’t let it get mе
There's no way to get it off
Close your eyes and hold it steady
While the wind kicks up
[Chorus]
All these wonders they ain’t ever twice the same
And most days I’m fine if I don’t hear your name
We were drawn and steady breathing taking aim
As we stood there, fell the first few drops of rain
All these wonders they ain’t ever twice the same
And most days I’m fine if I don’t hear your name
We were drawn and steady breathing taking aim
As we stood there, fell the first few drops of rain
