From universities all the way to penitentiaries

They love the sound of silence
I get perturbed when words turn into violence
So my nads are really nuds when my verbs hear the sirens

I said I read the books then I write them the mic
Then invite them through the speakers
In which the crowd then recites it
Brings it back into the hood in which they ignite
The spark that was started way back in the day
Keep the fire going burning down the system of plauge
Same system got our kids going to war at their age
Now age with their wisdom while they’re fighting anyway
But just to get up out the hood they will fight in any way
So I’m putting down my chips like Fritos Lays
Dip into my rhyme book find them answers this way
Swear the answers for the people like I’m MLK
On a beat with a swing that has no chain
Just a four four knocking at your door more
Leaving you to more or acts for
All from New Bern to Baltimore
New Bern to Bridgeport
I’m digging deep in these rhymes
