But then i feel something warm wrap itself around my spine
My enemy destroys me from the inside out
And now i'm stuck here with nothing, and no way to shake this cloud

These emotions in my brain i push down and down
Where they reside in a place ten miles below the ground
I mask the hurt with a joke, then off my shoulder it's blown
But then it comes back and haunts me every night when i'm alone
It digs a hole in my skull, and finds comfort in my soul
And i'm left alone crying at night with noone around to console
Me, but it's probably my fault anyway
For bottling up these feelings insted of sending them down the drain
I know it's not good to do but it's my natural reaction
And know i'm looking for a knife just to create a distraction
Because pain on the surface is better than the pain that's inside
Carving into my arms is like novacane for my mind
Tears run down my face every second as i'm blinking
It knows my every move, it knows exactly what i'm thinking
