On My Way Up Lyrics by Demetri

Farewell

2021

Yaah yahaahaahaa, Aye
At fifteen had to dig deep down in my guts
Big Dream with a fixed team wanted a buss
At sixteen father kicked me outta the hut
Wasn't easy my aunt had come in clutch
Rip jeans and my stiff knees all through the tuff
Young kid I was gifted I never gave up I was trying
They knocked me down but now I'm flying and
I'm on my way up
I'm on my way up
Up now not down
Yeah I am on my way up
I am on my way up
Watch out watch out
Yeah I am on my way up
I am on my way up
Up now not down
Yeah I am on my way up
I am on my way up
Watch out watch out cuz
I am on my way up
It wasn't easy, I had to dig deep
Back to the time when I couldn't afford Yeezys
Yeah I had fake friends, they use to tease me
But now they dazzled by the shine of my VVS
Even though sometimes I'm sad I havе to hold it
Serpents and snakes will wait to block your focus
Drain you out and lеave you now so hopeless
This is how the road is but
I'm on my way up
I'm on my way up
Up now not down
Yeah I am on my way up
I am on my way up
Watch out watch out
Yeah I am on my way up
I am on my way up
Up now not down
Yeah I am on my way up
I am on my way up
Watch out watch out cuz
I am on my way up
Ain't' no stopping me now I'm working harder
Running far away from the hate yeah Nesta Carter
Just thinking bout life when I'm famous gives me nausea
The Killing just ain't called for but
I'm on my way up
Yeahhh
I'm on my way up
Yeah huh
Yeahh
