Backwards Rap Lyrics by DeStorm Power

0

[Intro: DeStorm Power]
Words have power (4x)
(Believe that!)
Words have power (4x)
Yo
[Verse 1: DeStorm Power]
I realize this may come as a shock
Being great comes from the heart
Is far from the truth
The fame and the fortune makes me happy
So in the future I will tell my kids and my fans
They mean nothing
They don't affect my future plans
The haters will know I got my head on straight
Money means more to me than family
I'm telling you in so many ways
I'm glad that I changed
Back in the days, we stuck together
This is far from true
As far as I can see, I will fail in society
All my teachers said this world will relinquish my quest
And I don't believe in 5 years I could be at my best
If this is my job, I really should quit
I really should stop and I should give up
How could they tell me keep pushing
And I'll be a star
In the future, my talents won't take me too far
I don't argue when they say
Others can determine our fate
Because it's crazy to believe that I will be great
Okay, psshhhh, I'm a loser
[Verse 2: DeStorm Power]
I'm a loser, psshhhh, okay
I will be great
Because it's crazy to believe
Others can determine our fate
I don't argue when they say
My talents won't take me too far
In the future keep pushing and I'll be a star
How could they tell me I should give up
And I really should stop
I really should quit if this is my job
In 5 years I could be at my best
And I don't believe the world will relinquish my quest
All my teachers said I will fail in society
As far as I can see, this is far from true
We stuck together back in the days
I'm glad that I changed in so many ways
I'm telling you
Family means more to me than money
I got my head on straight because
The haters will know they mean nothing
They don't affect my future plans
So in the future I will tell my kids and my fans
The fame and fortune makes me happy
Is far from the truth
Being great comes from the heart
I realize this may come as a shock
Believe that
Yo
[Outro: DeStorm Power]
Words have power(8x)
Yo
