Blue Dream The Mixtape

[Hook]
Rise & Shine
Fuck What You Heard
I gotta Get Mine
Been puttin' in work, Been puttin' in work
I been puttin' in work
(2x)
[Verse 1: Devin Cruise]
Gimme that dollar
Fifty or better, if its a twenty don't holler
Grew up broke, they tried to send me to college, Nope
Then told me work, tell my supervisor I ain't sweepin' or moppin'
I was tired of that shirt
Hard drive full of work
Hard times for my momma
We can't wait til' the 1st
Eats me alive, knowing she can't reach in her purse
Squeeze a bunch of C-notes, she the reason I'm birthed
Told her don't you worry, you bout to have whatever you like
Put that on my life, C-notes is all i see in my sight
In my spliff, its OG, im breathing in right
Look up to the light, you helpin me right? cool
[Hook]
Rise & Shine
Fuck What You Heard
I gotta Get Mine
Been puttin' in work, Been puttin' in work
I been puttin' in work

[Verse 2: Devin Cruise]
Yeah look, cus i need that dollar
Thats what I told em'
You play with my dollar, you playing with my emotions
So i packed my pajamas, jumped on a plane, I got ghost
To the coast where they get high, I had high hopes
How ima survive in this city alone? I don't know
What do you know, universal said "huh.. here you go!"
Like "we heard the way you beat a fuckin' beat up
Like the one that's underneath you now, plus you a singer
These niggas seeing you how?"
I hope they got they feet up
With a teacup like they got like shit locked
Hope they did they read up
Bout a young nigga that beat the odds
From the garden state, screeching cars, he gon' reach the stars
Told my teachers "hasta la vista" y'all , bitch im tryna ball"
Stacking my money tall, until its 5'2"
If it ain't bout no money, I will need the subtitles
I dont comprehend, if it ain't bout no band
You know the early bird get it, so I'm up before them
[Chourus]
Rise & Shine
Fuck What You Heard
I gotta Get Mine
Been puttin' in work, Been puttin' in work
I been puttin' in work
