Switch Up Lyrics by Diotruth

Intro
Ah they call me Diotruth argh
Olo young mufasa
VERSE 1
I hold up this mic as I pour out my heart
Stand on my feet tho soul torn apart
To others this might be just some form of art
Well this is the way that I choose to impart
For others am simply a boy with a dream
To get all tha cheta with champagne & cream
Ask me the same & I'll prolly agree
But difference is I do it all for my team
Ironic how mostly I feel am alone
Gat thousands of fans but still feel am unknown
I dream to invest in my team when I blow
It’s sad tho cause they never do it for they boy
I ain't stressing tho I've always been told as a kid
Be kind to others and don’t expect a thing
Cause that is the way that we grow to be kings
My win is your win & that is just how we roll
HOOK
Let's switch up
Come on now switch up
Time to now switch up
Diotruth switch up, its now time to switch it up
VERSE 2
I get it now I been doing it all wrong
Been tryna impress y'all on every damn song
Just needed to express myself all along
But that is all gone now am tougher than Kong
I'll spit to express like am pressing on X
If y'all end up hurt you can go join my Ex
Refuse to make numbers by mentioning greats
Or seeking approval from those you call goats
Each upcomer on top I know is signed to a deal
I wanted it too if I was to be real
But couldn't get one that befitted a meal
So I went in hard like on viagra peel
My circle has always been less than or four
I guess am the type that is never social
Or maybe i fear opening up to more
So keep to myself & let the lion roar
HOOK
Let's switch up
Come on now switch up
Time to now switch up
Diotruth switch up, its now time to switch it up
VERSE 3
It's tough out here man every body can rap
To get to the top mayne you gatta be tough
Determined & different unique in your craft
Or you gon be toss up outside like you crap
I haven’t talked to him lately I agree
If I was being honest I don’t see the need
Sent so many letters he never replies
Or maybe he does he just always denies
Sometimes to be honest I doubt if he's there
Or maybe frustration makes my judgment blur
Just wish he would hear me out too like the rest
& have his presence felt in my life again
This year Diotruth now turns 4 years in rap
& just like corona we switching things up
Let’s start by spelling the name right with no gap
& get bold in flows like a hair less scalp
HOOK
Let's switch up
Come on now switch up
Time to now switch up
Diotruth switch up, its now time to switch it up vitro
