Yo DJ! Lyrics by Diss Wars & MF Dezze

Diss Wars:Season 1 Soundtrack

2023

[Intro:DJ Marquishaled]
We the worst music!
It breaks my heart..that someone thought of dissing me
Shoutout DJ Khaled
[Verse 1:MF Dezze]
You’re a fat motherfucker
You dare call every album I like mysterious music?
The music you like is sell out music
For when creativity has hit a new low
Artists get mad
You gotta steal a sample
And try to repackage it as your own
We can see right through it
It’s not creative or inventive
Man in his 40’s that still can’t make beats
But the only thing he can do is get a beat from Tay Keith
Reason why people don’t wanna work with you
Is bеcause if they do then thеy ruined their whole brand and reputation
Let’s take a look at Drake
First collaboration was in 2011
Collaborated again in 2022
And since then his music has been on the decline
Hopefully this new album is good
If it’s not then I’m done tryna support this cornball
Collaborated with Megan Trainor in 2016
And since then her pop music has gotten worse
Collaborated with Lil Baby in 2022
And now his music is mid
You do know what you’re doing to these people
They buy into your ideas
And then it makes them look fucking stupid
But if that’s what they want then okay
[Verse 2:MF Dezze]
I said go DJ!
But that’s not my DJ
I said I want a replay
But that is not a replay
You think this the shit that get you played
But not everywhere will your music play
Won’t play when you’re getting robbed
Won’t play when you’re getting married
Won’t play when you’re getting divorced
Will only play when I’m dead
Then you mock the funeral
Because of the music selection
Maybe I wouldn’t be dissing you
If your music took a different direction
I know you have industry connections
But that doesn’t mean shit
If your songs are still blatant copies
So why do you even copy?
Do you think it’s because you want money from the original artist?
Or are you greedy and focused more on hits than actually good music?
When I’m in the studio I’m not tryna make a hit every time
And I hit my head against the wall when the features
On your songs barely try
They save their most phoned in performances for you
They’re worst performances for you
That’s how you can tell that they really don’t care about you
Only reason they did it was because the rent was due
And nobody cares about your new album
That shit will suck
With the thought of James Blake also dropping
We don’t give a fuck about what that would offer
More exciting releases are soon to come
And your album is not one of those releases
