They did everything together even though they were boys

Every morning Roy and Silo woke up, went exploring
Gathering stones and forming, and that's just like a couple would do
But they noticed the other families were very focused
On their eggs and babies but their nest
They emptied and Roy knew what to do

So he found a large rock that looked just like an egg
He brought it back to their home and pushed it into their nest
Taking turns sitting over it and keeping it warm
But the rock never hatched and no baby was born

Their penguin friends Betty and Porky had an extra egg that couldn't stay warm
So Mr. Gramsey the zookeeper had an idea
He took that extra egg and just like you're thinking, placed it in their nest
And without even blinking, they knew just what to do

Now they're a family
They taught her how to sing when she was hungry
Fed her from their beaks and so proudly
They snuggled in their nest every night
