Changing Vibes Lyrics by DJ Deathblade

2021

This new hat smell like fresh luggage
I’m trying to find out what I want this to be about
Shit, I guess that's what we'll see about
"She wanna see what that heat about"
"They gonna see what that heater ‘bout"
I guess there's plenty of ways I could flip up a phrase in a day just to put a new single out
But I been taking my time making sure I polish my rhymes, that's shit I overthink about
Tryna give people something to think about
(Ayo don't blow the speakers out!)
Speak the things you wanna be
And then you start to manifest realities
That’s why you gotta watch your mouth, quit speaking tragedies
It’s sad to see. It’s strange to me, the irony of how I used to be
The strangest thing is now I’m high as fuck and I can see hypocrisy
Especially biblically, that's why the Pastor and the Decon mad at me
But what did I do?
I think we're being lied to
Every day I have a new epiphany to write to
Every day I notice something weird about the way these people act and now I'm questioning their character and vibes too
But why don't you? Are you searching deeper for the truth? Do you look below the surface of the news camera crew?
That's okay, you just do you, in a world gone crazy, nah I'm cool
Finna vibe in the sunset
Getting high with myself got the blunt wet (Damn)
I ain't trippin' with the eighth and a full check
Going dummy like the bass when I do a set, bet
I'm just making music I can toke to
Something I can jam around my folk to
I'm just making music I can smoke to
Ride around my city with the whole crew
Ride with them windows down
Flying like I'm in the clouds
High and never coming down
Blunt so loud it's screaming now
Wax got me fucked up
On my ready to re-up
Bounce back down to South sac just to buy a pack
Matter fact, lemme get two
You know how I do
Roll a few
One for now, a couple for later too
Thank you all for tuning in
This has been yours truly, DJ Deathblade once again
But what did I do?
I think we being lied to
Every day I have a new epiphany to write to
Every day I notice something weird about the way these people act and now I'm questioning their character and vibes too
