Certain Kind of Man Lyrics by DJ Lucas

The Hipster Nation Is Crumbling

2019

[Intro]
DJ (DJ)
Ramsey Productions, baby (DJ Lucas on the fuckin' thang)
The hipster nation is crumbling
DJ (DJ)
DJ Lucas
[Chorus]
It takes a certain kind of man just to walk on in
And I dunno if I'm him, no, I don't know if I'm him, yeah
It takes a special kind of person to live life 'bove the rim
'Cause next day you might be back in the gym
I'm just catchin' a glimpse, yeah
[Verse]
I really be in the mix, but I was just in the sticks
And I can see through the mist
And I ran into some people I ain't seen in a bit
Got a sleeve of nips and the sleeves are ripped
Might be the sleaziest kids in West Mass., baby
Goin' fast, baby, headin' towards the cash, baby
I'm in New York, but I always be in Mass., baby
I ain't been to mass lately, last time it was mad crazy
Saw my last lady, she was talkin' mad crazy
Sometimes I feel like people got it out for me
Boy, I'm drippin', someone please find a towel for me
And I'm in London, someone please find an ounce for me
Matter fact, while you're at it, find a couch for me
Got some crazy-ass people that can vouch for me
The engineer still got them stems that he ain't bounced for me
If my girl don't like you, gotta bounce for me
Doubt they can outscore me, they was rockin' out for me
[Chorus]
It takes a certain kind of man just to walk on in
And I dunno if I'm him, no, I don't know if I'm him, yeah
It takes a special kind of person to live life 'bove the rim
'Cause next day you might be back in the gym
I'm just catchin' a glimpse, yeah
[Interlude]
I'm just gonna straight up say it
At this point fuck DJ Lucas, fuck Dark World
Boston, Mass., you guys are fuckin' up
DJ Lucas on the fuckin' thang
[Chorus]
It takes a certain kind of man just to walk on in
And I dunno if I'm him, no, I don't know if I'm him, yeah
It takes a special kind of person to live life 'bove the rim
'Cause next day you might be back in the gym
I'm just catchin' a glimpse, yeah
