Good Times Lyrics by DJay Kennedy

0

Verse 1:
See through the dark and find the good times/
You can hear positive notes in my hood rhymes/
I push thru so you dont have to go thru what I went thru/
This is why I make the songs I do/
Growing up I had nobody/
No god no religion/
Heaven was a superstition/
Still is but you know you can live better/
Consider this your scholarship letter/
Scholarship to LAzYs school if Hip Hop/
Where dreams never stop/
We all throw 88s cuz we will never stop growing/
This is our inner knowing of a path to greatness/
Only our haters can hate this we all get that feeling where you wanna give up/
We need to get feelings of blowing up and survive/
Everyone has their good moments but in the end we all feel that/
Verse 2:
Good Times rarely happen/
But maybe I need to start doin more rappin/
Tell the youth of tomorrow the sorrow everyone goes through/
Gotta tell him to keep their head up and stay true/
Say no to thugs/
Say no to drugs/
Then your set for life/
At least in the ghetto/
The suburbs got it easier but its still a struggle/
So many life stories we have to juggle/
Drop one they all fall/
Keep your head up and keep standing tall/
All through our lifes we got to ball and hold each other up/
Put the drank in these ladies cup/
We all fall scrape our knees/
But we gotta keep trying and find our expertise cuz/
