Broken and Lost Lyrics by Don Dini

Mixed Matrix

2022

Isn't it crazy how one day you're king
The next your kingdom doesn't want you
My ex told me she never loved me
Well she said maybe but that really numbed me
For 16 years I went through the education system and the day I quit to pursue my dreams my family told me I'm a disappointment
Well I don't like putting conditions on love
So if you only love me for who I'm not
I'd rather be left alone
Lately the only place I've been finding peace is solitude I know I'm a solid dude but being a soldier I'm starting to fight for what I really want not what others do
The only one I feel comfortable talking to is God
I don't feel like humans understand me
Feels like talking to a wall
Maybe it's worse at least a wall won't tell you you're unloved
But what is love I don't even know anymore
Dear God help me because I'm broken
I'm so broken
Broken & lost
I'm so broken & lost
Dear God I need your guidance
Please help me
I know you will cause you always have
They say Dini you're always positive & strong
You're for real a Don
That's because I'm winning battles you'll never know of,  always see me smiling through the hardship
That's the only way you're winning a championship
Never been one to jump ship
Always focused on winning the title till it's manifested
Give all the glory to God for all the successes
Pray & hope he forgives all my sins because of his mercifulness
Every single second of my life is full of blessings
No more stressing but
I'm so broken
Broken & lost
I'm so broken & lost
Dear God I need your guidance
Please help me
I know you will cause you always have
I'm so broken
Broken & lost
I'm so broken & lost
Dear God I need your guidance
Please help me
I know you will cause you always have
