Put on Your Shades Lyrics by Dougie DL

0

Verse 1:
Everything looks good
When you're wearing a hood
That covers your eyes
But then that impairment dies
And you fall out the skies
The world's disguise
Erases
You see the faces
And forget all of the graces
Why do people wear braces
To avoid further judgement
Of an uncontrollable imperfection
Society's heading in the wrong direction
As now one's perception
Is determined by something arranged at inception
Now there's a defection
The need for perfection
Is spreading like an infection
It's of bad intention
And needs immediate attention
Meanwhile I'm sitting in detention
Why
I don't know but I'm high
Verse 2:
They ask why i do drugs
It's for the same reason i buy rugs
To cover up what I don't want to see
The world looks a whole lot better
When you're perception is deranged
The world is arranged
In a way that's not estranged
Everything is simple
The earth spins
Dolphins have fins
That aren't getting torn apart
People walk
People talk
And nothing more about it
Everyone has a fit
And there is no need to get lit
This is the world I desire to live in
This is the vision that I have within
I wish this is the life that I'm livin'
