Out of Control Lyrics by Down With The Kings

0

So many promises they make
So many times, they give and take
So many words just being fake
But I am finally awake
Won’t make the same mistake
These motherfuckers from above
They keep on dragging us down
While holding hands on the crown
Don't even listen to what they say
It's all about what you've got
And what they cannot take
So fuck this (Fuck that!)
Fuck this (Fuck that!)
Fuck this and everything they've said
[Chorus]
You're not holding us back down anymore
(Not holding us back down anymore)
We'll be a force that you can't ignore
You may see me struggle but you never see me quit
No longer denying that dream we've all been hiding
You're not holding us back down anymore
'Cause it's time to lose control
The time is now
So you'd better be awake
There's only one path to take
As you're remembered for the rules you break
So get the fuck out of my way
Yeah, you think that I’m insane
Think that this is all a game, yeah
Time to take it back
Kick it and relax
Let me follow my dreams
Why don't cha you realize that
You cannot take that away from me
They are not in our minds
They are not in our lives
They are not kings and queens
So stand your ground and start to scream
[Chorus]
You're not holding us back down anymore
(Not holding us back down anymore)
We'll be a force that you can't ignore
You may see me struggle but you never see me quit
No longer denying that dream we've all been hiding
You're not holding us back down anymore
You wanna break me
You’ll never phase me
So take a step away and realize you’re fading
You wanna break me
You’ll never phase me
So get the fuck away from me
[Outro Chorus]
You're not holding us back down anymore
(Not holding us back down anymore)
We'll be a force that you can't ignore
You may see me struggle but you never see me quit
No longer denying that dream we've all been hiding
You're not holding us back down anymore
(You lose control)
You're not holding us back down anymore
(You lose control)
You're not holding us back down anymore
