I open the door to the apartment, as the zombies look at me

They start swarming me, I try to react quick

I push it at his face like a ball at the pool table
This all seems like a fever dream, like an Aesop Fable
The zombie tries to come in, then trips over an cable
He slowly gets up, staggers like he's disabled
I grab my gun, and shoot him dead, I'm surprised I was able
The others are fast to follow, then trip over the dead flesh
Hang on, I just need to take a second to process and refresh
Ok, I'm fine now
I shoot up all the zombies til they're dead like pow pow
I wait a second, see no more zombies come up
I walk out the door, and make my way downstairs
When suddenly I see zombies in wheelchairs
I shoot them all down
They surrender with a frown
I'm the biggest zombie murderer in town
Yes, that's a noun
I get up, and I go outside
When I see 5 zombies coming from the seaside
I'm mortified
My gun's still in the building, that's the downside
I get up, and sprint towards the entrance
Preventing the end of the world is hard like Tetris
But I'm not giving up, I get up off the ground
When suddenly I hear a a really strange sound
It's a nuke! And it'll blow up in five minutes
I hope that in that amount of time I can finish on thew clock
I feel determined so I go back outside, and grab my Glock
Before I can, the 5 zombies come inside
And try to swarm me and my Glock
I knock the 5 zombies out like me with writer's block
I hear a zombie say something, I say "Woah, you can talk?"
I see 50 on a boat coming from the dock
And 39 more across the street on the sidewalk
I reload my gun, and I shoot them all down
Until I remember about the ones on the other side of the street
I kill them all too, they're dead like CTRL+ALT+DELETE
When from another direction, I smell something horrible
Welcome to another episode of the zombie chronicle
I see 5 zombies gathered around, grilling a dead body
I flip out, and I shoot them all dead
