Sometimes Lyrics by DuPont Brass

Music Education

2020

Verse 1
I been reaching for something
Hoping and praying imma make it
But sometimes it gets harder than you’ll ever know
And sometimes I feel like I wanna lose hope
I’m going crazy over my dreams
And nobody seems to see
Knocking down every door
And every obstacle in front of me
But it feels like no matter how hard I try
I get knocked down, But its alright
Chorus
Sometimes you gotta get it wrong to get it right
Gotta loosen up just to get it tight
Gotta see the light in the darkest nights
Sometimes, sometimes
Gotta find your way even if you’re blind
Gotta free your heart if you free your mind
Everyone’s a star when you find your shine
Sometimes, sometimes
Verse 2
I been Roaming round in streets, in the crowd, smoking Loud, searching for a pathway
I’ll have my old ways
Kept me from me a new phase
Phase with the days that I craze just to praise on the simpler things, oh I can’t wait
But I can anticipate cuz
It feels so good to have you around
Let’s get up off this couch
Let’s go live our dreams out
Have No Doubt
Take you from the ground up to the clouds
With you, I know no bounds
So even when I’m bound
Know that I’m down
