As Good As Bad News Lyrics by DVTCH NORRIS

Fahad Seriki, I Hate You

2019

[Verse 1: DVTCH NORRIS]
Life is not a fairy tale
And I know that very well
I was tryna love myself
Then the bathroom mirror fell
Picked it up and cut myself
This shit broke and you could tell
Haven't grown since I was 12
Haven't grown since I was
Hurt the ones that love me and that's
Fucked up 'cause I love 'em too
Abusing what I'm doing 'cause I
Use him then I cut him loose
I'm as good as bad news
I'm as good as bad news
Same page, same story
But the book, brand new
Kept her right beside me 'cause
I don't wanna die alone
Feelin' like a pussy 'cause
I don't wanna die alone
Tossin' you a [?] 'cause
You don't wanna die alone
You don't wanna die alone
You don't wanna die alone
[Chorus: Yann Gaudeuille]
I don't wanna be a role model
Livin' in the shadows
Bitch, give me my bottle (mmmh)
Nothing that I'm proud of
I don't wanna be a role model (I don't wanna be a role model)
Livin' in the shadows (in the shadows)
Bitch, give me my bottle (yeah yeah)
Stuck on the driveway
[Verse 2: Yann Gaudeuille]
Gates, maybe, staring at your plate
Fake chains, phone will vibrate (oh)
Playing, playing games, yeah
Don't want to be alone
I need to be alone
Body has a mind, is knowin'
I've been on the street for long
Tell the neighbours they should mind their business, though
[Chorus: Yann Gaudeuille]
I don't wanna be a role model
Livin' in the shadows
Bitch, give me my bottle (mmmh)
Nothing that I'm proud of
I don't wanna be a role model (I don't wanna be a role model)
Livin' in the shadows (in the shadows)
Bitch, give me my bottle (yeah yeah)
[Verse 3: DVTCH NORRIS]
I can't stand myself, sometimes I
Wish that I was someone else
I can't stand myself and it be
Fucking with my mental health
I get mad as fuck when people
Try to get me mental health
Try to take advice but I just
Never ever take it well
What do he think ?
What do she think ?
Mind is overthinking
I can see things
I'm not really sleepin'
Not really eatin' (*cough* *cough*)
I got fever
My body heatin'
(*cough* *cough* *cough*, *cough* *cough*)
(Ha !, *cough* *cough*)
[Chorus: Yann Gaudeuille]
I don't wanna be a role model
Livin' in the shadows
Bitch, give me my bottle (mmmh)
Nothing that I'm proud of
I don't wanna be a role model (I don't wanna be a role model)
Livin' in the shadows (in the shadows)
Bitch, give me my bottle (yeah yeah)
Stuck on the driveway
[Outro]
We [?] very day
We say we really know but we don't
Don't, don't
We [?] very day
We say we really know but we don't
Don't, don't
