Maybe that’s too dramatic
Moisture can be uncomfortable
Change is constant;
That shouldn’t be new information
To anyone
What do we do with that knowledge?
Adapt?
Well Evolution takes time
I’m impatient
I want my instant gratification
It’s my life and I need it now
So, devoid of pats on the back
I seek affirmation
There’s too little of that around
Self-sufficiency, sustainability
Servitude
Is that too bold?
Too arrogant?
Too selfish?
Humor me
Let me just run
With this craziness for a bit
Before this train of thought
Runs out of track and derails
Watch me crash and burn
Or go down in a blaze of glory
Cheer me on or marvel at my foolishness
This is happening regardless
Progress is inevitable
There’s no certainty
Aside from the change
The back and forth
Scenery moving from foreground to background
I wish I could stop and
Set up camp where I am
Too damn bad I guess
