Don’t Trust Guys Lyrics by Eleanor Kingston

2021

[Verse 1]
(Oh-oh, ooh, I)
I'll never apologize for asking hard questions on the first date
I suppose I don't trust a lot of guys
And gotta a mamma that's scared to death
I will find a guy who doesn't care about me
Too scared he'll use me just to have me
Like when I found out about Malorie
Kept it under wraps for eight whole months (Shh!)
[Pre-Chorus]
No, you never knew what love is
Stick a needle in my eye and show me what trust is
[Chorus]
(Ooh) Oh-oh, ooh, I
Don't trust guys
Don't fall for their lies
Oh-oh, ooh, I
Don't trust guys
Don't fall for their lies
(Don't trust guy—)
[Verse 2]
How can you trust when you sit in his room?
Detecting if the smell is colognе or perfume
Pulls you close to say hе's missing you
But the lines on his back say he's just confused
My nails are too short, a month is too long
And now I know he found pleasure in another one
Thought you had a fool but you only played you
I'd show you that I'm laughing but too bad you're blocked, hun
(You're blocked, hun)
[Pre-Chorus]
No, you never knew what love is
Stick a needle in my eye and show me what—
[Chorus]
(Ooh) Oh-oh, ooh, I
Don't trust guys
Don't fall for their lies
Oh-oh, ooh, I
Don't trust guys
Don't fall for their lies
[Interlude]
I wish him, well, I
I wish we never met
I, I, I, I'm better by myself
[Chorus]
(Ooh) Oh-oh, ooh, I
Don't trust guys
Don't fall for their lies
Oh-oh, ooh, I
Don't trust guy—
(Don't trust guy—)
[Outro]
I'm sorry to all the guys that I hurt in the making of this record
No, I'm not
