Had To Let You Know Lyrics by Elijah Cole

2022

[Chorus]
We were sixteen when you walked into my life
I don't know how I could be so blind
We were eighteen when you told me that you love me
And since then I thought that we were fine
And now I'm on my own
Don't know where to go
Losing all control
Had to let you know
[Verse 1]
If I could take it all back I would
How many times can you tell me that we're still good
And then you started to run
You started to fall
So many thoughts in my head
I thought that we would grow old
I guess I was wrong
I knew all along
And now I feel it all over again
[Chorus]
We were sixteen when you walked into my life
I don't know how I could be so blind
We were eighteen when you told me that you love me
And since then I thought that we were fine
And now I'm on my own
Don't know where to go
Losing all control
Had to let you know
[Outro]
We were sixteen when you walked into my life
I don't know how I could be so blind
Now I'm twenty and I'm on my own
The only thing I can do is let go
