Last Request Lyrics by Elkir

Elkir (EP 2019)

2019

[Verse 1]
Hear me, Gods, my last request
I'm afraid, I’m facing death
But I know I have to lead
To be strong and to resist
My lore has fallen down
Could you please explain me why
We fought everyday and night
Protecting Mona
[Chorus]
Our last sore farewell
To this green, cursed land
We will fight
We will die
But at least
Our love, passion, souls
Will remain after time
Oh, I swear, ideals never die
[Post-Chorus]
United we'll rise
‘Cause tonight
We fight as one!
[Verse 2]
Such pathеtic, childish fear, being afraid of destiny
Whilе you, Gods, already know what's the road that lies ahead
Old ones told me to live, but I can’t forget the deeds, can't forget the screaming maids
Yes, I will stay
[Chorus]
Now it's time to redeem
We can't win
That's so clear
We will fight
We will die
But at least
Our love, passion, souls will remain after time
Oh, I swear, ideals never die
[Post-Chorus]
United We'll rise
‘Cause tonight
We fight as one!
[Guitar Solo]
[Chorus]
Our last sore farewell
To this green, cursed land
We will fight
We will die
But at least
Our love, passion, souls
Will remain after time
Oh, I swear, ideals never die
United We'll rise
‘Cause tonight
We fight as one...
