Breaks 2014 - Remix Lyrics by Emcee Aidos

2021

(Hook 1: Emcee Aidos)
They try to make me slow down
But imma put the breaks off
They tell me I should hold up
But imma put the breaks off
Breaks off (x3)
And we going up, up, up, up
Breaks off (x2)
(Verse 1: Emcee Aidos)
Let's take it back to when things were great
Back when I was doing ONW58
Camping out in national parks
And it would rain when it got dark
I grinded doing that for 7 weeks
Left all my coke bottles on their van floor and they leaked
Sometimes thought I was going cray cray
But it was all worth it in the end and that's when I started going to Footscray
Use to hang with Naz and another dude before it all got bad
Wе'd go to the skate park after school, had somе times that were pretty mad
Time feels like it couldn't have gone any faster
We hung out once come the end of the year, back at the old Plaza
It was a much simpler time, like yesterday it all seems
And it means a lot to me and Naz, this was 2014
(Hook 2: Emcee Aidos)
They try to make me slow down
But imma put the breaks off
They tell me I should hold up
But imma put the breaks off
Breaks off (x3)
And we going up, up, up, up
Breaks off (x2)
(Verse 2: Emcee Nazza)
Remembering them good times, where me and the guys would hang all the time
I don’t gotta lie, it was pretty fire, I just wish we all got together at least one last time
I’m heading away soon and sucks that one of the guys lost contact so I can’t say goodbye one last time
Walking around like we were the kings of hoppers
The wolf pack is what we called ourselves and acted like show stoppers
This was way before I could flow onto beats
I never ran from coppers, i was a good kid but made some bad choices like being friends with a big flopper
One day in particular, I thought I’d write my first verse
Never knew the year after that I’d continue writing more verses
But back to 2014, I’d wanna thank the people that were in my life
Ash, Aidos you guys and I were the wolf pack and that can live on
I know I mightn’t seem like the nice guy no more
But I want y’all to know, I’ll be mr nice guy until I die
Memories will forever lye close to me guys
And everytime I look back on the good times, wolf pack will be first to my mind
(Hook 3: Emcee Aidos)
They try to make me slow down
Breaks off (x2)
They try to make me hold up
Breaks off (x2)
They try to make me slow down
Breaks off (x2)
They try to make me hold up
Breaks off
And imma put the breaks off
They try to make me slow down
But imma put the breaks off
They tell me I should hold up
But imma put the breaks off
Breaks off (x3)
And we going up, up, up, up
Breaks off (x2)
(Outro: Emcee Aidos)
Just a real quick shoutout
To newstart and all the people on it, thanks for all you did for me
To Naz, it's been a pleasure bro we've had some good times
And to Ash, no hard feelings bro I hope you're well
