Word of the Mouth Lyrics by Eric Stewart

Viva la Difference

2009

Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
The voice is screaming, like a banshee's wail
Ooh the tongues are wagging, like a puppy dog's tail
The pigs are squealing, they feel the fear
The lambs are silent, they don't want to hear
From the east to the west, north to the south
All the lines are buzzing, it's the word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
Oh, the plot's getting thicker, just grows and grows
Mm, the lines getting longer, like Pinocchio's nose
He said, she said, who said so
How it all started, nobody knows
From the east to the west, north to the south
Better run for cover, it's the word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
The voice is soothing, it's gonna take you in
Ooh, a voice like that, should be a deadly sin
Listen closely should it lie to you
Do you wanna believe that it speaks the truth?
From the east to the west, north to the south
Better close your ears, it's the word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
TV, radio, ooh, mobile phones, where can you hide
If you wanna be alone?
Driving in your car, sleeping in your bed
Deadly signals passing through your head
From the east to the west, north to the south
Better close the border, it's the word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
Word of the mouth, word of the mouth
