It Had To Happen Lyrics by Extinction Plaza

It Had To Happen

2015

[Verse 1: Simon Ace]
So we start off
Writing the greatest legend in the history books as we go
Black and all gold
This is our motto, the mind so dark, the bars are pure gold
Got no support
Dropped out of college but that don't mean my education is short
Mission abort
Sorry momma but I had to chase dreams and carry the torch
Born as a poet
To this day I'm confused, Picasso is drawing my portrait
This is an omen
Only forward we are going, no lookin back at the explosion
Haters ignore
We got the freedom of speech, some people should hush more
Show how we score
By the end of my term my head's on Mount Rushmore
Ever since a kid I knew I would make it
I was eating pie, eyes on the cake
At sixteen made a fuckin' statement
I would get rich or make a deal with satan
So if I did ever really wake up
In the front seat of a Continental
You would listen to all my instrumentals
Understand it had to happen soon or later
None of this was ever accidental
It was pinpointed to a fuckin level
That your tiny brain wouldn't understand
Cause for human beings this is confidential
Hear the radio at stagnation
Had to turn up like a fuckin freckle
So you understand that our pen and pencil
Really changed the world, that is monumental
[Pre-Hook]
Stay true to my crew, and we'll never quit
Cause this shit it has to happen
Word on my soul - we gonna be rich
And then we'll say it had to happen
[Hook]
It had to happen (x8)
Island in the Caribb' - it had to happen
30 maids in my crib - it had to happen
90 inches on my wall - it had to happen
Cerberus guarding my door - it had to happen
[Verse 2: Whale Powers]
Almighty king is what I see in the mirror
Hop up on my time machine, no DMC we got that Sierra
Going straight for the Lambo, yeah I skip the Carrera
Greatness took us some years but it'll be here forever
Money dictate all my moves, fuck love - ain't got no room
The crew got silver spoons, round table we all tycoons
Goons waiting outside, I tried to cuff a bitch
Didn't have the proper ride, now it's over for the bitch
We 'bout to live the dream life, man I owe me
I know it had to happen, they don't really know me
Girls used to blow me off now they blow me
Got new money but it's still the old me
EP flag each color got a secret code
Right now my mind black soon I'll be shitting gold
It's a trilogy all the stories will be told
It's a prophecy, listen to it in my rolls
Turn the dream girl into my real world
Whole crew getting rich, it's the teamwork
All the world has to offer, that's what we earned
Worth 200 mill' call me Justin Bieber
[Prehook]
[Hook]
