Now it goes to an export zone
On the other side of the world
Far removed from everyhting you work for

American worker, hold up your head
One day you’ll find a job to employ all the skill that you have
They sent them all away to save on their bottom line
Where folks know they’ll be shot dead if they stand on a picket line

It hasn’t always been this way
There used to be a day
Where labor was protected by the power of itself
Now, they found a way to sidestep the protections that
Built this land
But how long will their model work
How long can this country not work
How long can we put it on someone else
Before we accept responsibility ourselves?
