They Told Me Lyrics by Felonius Chino

ABBY ’96

2016

[Verse 1]
Hmmmm
Okay they told me something
I'm pretty told me all I'm ever gonna get is nothing
They told me no one ever makes it out my city
For the past few years I've been writing what I've seen
I've been plottin' out my schemes
Realizing cream
Struggling to find a happy medium
Harder than it seems though I'm keep it up
Whatever they tell me I'm not gonna cuss I'm not gonna bust but I'll bust out the game
Check out my name
Felonius
Villain enough
Riddling sippin on medicine none of promethazine I'm bout the vitamin ugh
Kick it with chino and ugh
Listen to chino and ugh
Ugh
This the vibe
You can feel it in your skull
You can breathe it in your lungs
Smoke up a bowl
Pack up a brim
Kick it with them
Whatever they say
Tell me you win
Cus
We
All
Are
Championss
[Bridge]
Damn
They told me
They told me
They told everything
They told me
They told me
They told everything
[Verse 2]
And there ain't one thing
That ain't pass my mind
Everyday I'm thinking
Why'd they say?
Everyday I'm thinkin will it pay off?
A kid just dreamin off
Back in class I never payed attention to the stuff
Always dazin off, dreamin of
Chino meetin Kendrick on the spot
Shit I always thought
They can't tell me nothing
