[Chorus]
I put my right arm out and then the left arm out
And then I hold 'em like I'm makin' a circle
And then I do the dip and then I squeeze and twist
And yo, believe me, I ain't even tryna hurt you (Let's go)
I put my left arm out and then the right arm out
And then I hold 'em like I'm makin' a circle (Woo)
Do the dip again, even with my friends
And then squeeze 'em 'til we make 'em turn purple (Yeah)
[Verse 1]
Yo, it's your buddy Huggy, we don't do the dougie, buddy
Around here, all wе doin' is the Huggy Wuggy
Two-steppin' to the bеat, gettin' lovey dovey
You can squeeze up on a friend or your puppy wuppy
Give your mom a hug, give your dad a hug
If it ain't no one around, you can grab a duck
You could even do the dance with your favorite plush
What you doin'? Lift it up and just give it a hug
I told my grandpa, "What up, Gramps? You wanna dance?"
He said, "Back in my day, we did the chicken ranch"
Listen, gramps, don't nobody know what that is
But this is new school, now I'm 'bout to give you a quiz
Yo, what's the first move?
"Uh, is it left arm out?"
No
You wasn't paying attention, try again now
"Oh yeah, you said to make a circle"
C'mon, gramps, it's the simplest dance in the world, dude
[Chorus]
I put my right arm out and then my left arm out
And then I hold 'em like I'm makin' a circle
And then I do the dip and then I squeeze and twist
And yo, believe me, I ain't even tryna hurt you (Let's go)
I put my left arm out and then my right arm out
And then I hold 'em like I'm makin' a circle (Woo)
Do the dip again, even with my friends
And then squeeze 'em 'til we make 'em turn purple (Yeah)
[Verse 2]
Ayo, my granny wanny, she move her granny fanny
'Cause everybody in the family love a little dancing
Even my uncle wuncle, even my auntie wauntie
Even my cousin Stuart living in Miami Wami
I told my granny, I said, "Listen, yo, I got some moves"
So follow me and I'ma tell you what you got to do
It's pretty simple, and it's all about the love
See, the dance is really fun, and it revolves around the hug, so
I put my left arm out and my right one too (Yeah)
If you ain't feeling the groove, then that is just rude
Doin' the Huggy dance is what you must do
And if you get too close, I might hug you
She said, "Let me put my knees to the test"
"Left arm, right arm, then I breeze through the rest"
If you want, you can add a little lean to the left
Then I squeezed on my granny 'til I squeezed her to death
[Chorus]
I put my right arm out and then the left arm out
And then I hold 'em like I'm makin' a circle
And then I do the dip and then I squeeze and twist
And yo, believe me, I ain't even tryna hurt you (Let's go)
I put my left arm out and then my right arm out
And then I hold 'em like I'm makin' a circle (Woo)
Do the dip again, even with my friends
And then squeeze 'em 'til we make 'em turn purple (Yeah)
[Bridge]
Sounds like there is a knock at the door
It was so loud that I thought it was Thor
Hey, officers, how you doin'? "Just dandy"
"But you're under arrest for the murder of granny wanny"
[Verse 3]
Yo, wait a second, guys, this was just an accident
I can explain, now let me tell you what is happening
We was hanging out and I was showing her this dance
And then I hugged her, I ain't know she had a fragile abdomen
"And can you show us what this dance looked like?"
Sure, you put your left arm out after the right
And you dip, and when you dip, you give 'em a squeeze
But granny couldn't handle it, she fell to her knees
"Mmm, so for the record, it goes left arm out?"
No, right, then left, then you wrap it around
Then squeeze real tight 'til your friend says ow
There you go, now you're getting it down, everybody
And then squeeze 'em 'til we make 'em turn purple
