Oathery Lyrics by FKA FRANCO

Late Bloomer

2024

[Verse: FKA]
Uh, young boy, 19 years out the womb
Picture a college student writing rhymes in his room
To be at the top, he knows he's gotta do his work
Already got more lyrics in his notebook than he has homework
Uh, wanna be a success, and he got the keys
He knows life is gonna get in the way
Difficulty ain't on easy
But, please believe, like part of a tree
I mean, please believe, as in trust in me
When I'm rapping, they scoffing
Lil' nigga from Boston, don't care what thе cost is
Won't let no one stop this, thesе niggas, they lost it
Their talent, they tossed it and I guess I caught it
You could say I Randy Moss'd it, woo!
Let me take a breath
I'm pretty sure these niggas blind to my vision of success
I don't see why it's so hard to grasp that concept
Maybe they don't wanna be successful
They probably just wondering if I sold my soul to the devil
Believing in music mind-controlling bodies
Pissing themselves thinking of illuminati
I don't believe in it, but you just do you
And I'm always gonna do me, AKA Franco Goon, uh
Too legit to quit, I'm too dedicated to lose
Sorry if I came late, just had to pay my dues, uh
Got these youtube rappers, gassed up over their views
But I keep 'em tongue-tied, lyrically confused
Franco, they think you're wack, so what? They're fools
Because they're only following, dreams that their parents choose
But it is apparent, their parents got them scared and they're not even aware that they don't have to do what their parents want them to
Use motivation as a tool to, be who you wanna be
And do what you wanna do, man
You can do anything that you think you can
You just gotta be your own motherfucker yes-man
They flows weaker than a hospital patient
And man, I be patient, patiently waitin'
To see my name up in flashing lights
This what Ye talkin' bout, man, these shits is so bright
Damn near burnin' out my retinas
Then I got paparazzi askin' all these questions, bruh, damn
Can I get some space?
Already got thoughts of chokin' a paparazzi out
If you get too close to my face But it's back to life, back to reality
I got two questions, who are you? and why you mad at me?
My hunger is insatiable, your bars are debatable
Doubt me and I'll cut you off like you ain't pay for your cable
Feel like the Godfather sittin' at the end of the table
My bars will leave you leaning like a tsunami wave would
I've had a metamorphosis of my mind
Used to never find time, now I'm always on my grind
Epitome of getting mine, put my dreams on the line
Man, I'm my own ghostwriter
When I step on the stage, the spotlight seems to get brighter
Probably 'cause I bring fire, my lyrics what they desire
Causing my dreams to get higher, man, I'm goin' through the damn wire
And through the damn fire and the flames
Just so you all know my motherfucking name
I promise to never get complacent
Just wanna be able to say "Mama, I made it! Mama, I made it!
Mama, I made it! You made me, I made it, so Mama, we made it!
Mama, I made it! Mama, I made it! You made me, we made it, so Mama, you made it! Yeah
