But like a solder without orders
He keeps on marching on
To satisfy his hunger, but in vain
When from the corner of his eye
He sees a flickering of light
A satin skirt rise high above the knee
Her arms are beckoning
This siren starts to sing
He stumbles towards
This meal fit for a king
And he doesn’t remember why
With his body his soul did die
He never did quite realize

She places a grenade
Where his heart had once been
And pulls the pin!
And with a flash of exploding light
Again a woman, she took his life
