Platinum Lyrics by Freddie Shelton

The Exquisite Escape

2024

Ever since I laid my eyes upon your face
I've felt so many feelings, got me losing pace
Your perfect smile, your confidence
So radiant, your common sense
I long to know you like a story
Dripping jewels in all my glory
Number one, you’re my rising sun
Your smile’s the golden treasure, your eyes, the perfect weather (Yah!)
Ooh
What a treasure, surely a tremendous pleasure
I can feel myself getting hot
Warm sensations shifting from my eyes to my thighs
You ask me if I’m free tonight
I wasn’t, wait… looks like you’re right
You’re as rare on this Earth, as platinum
As eye-bewildering as the stars above
Igniting intense infernos within my lustful lungs
Instantiating this desire, though we’re forever young
Evidently, I’ve entered, and encountered, once again, an enigma of emotions
The main culprit, though, may be your heart’s inhibition
Wherever this road takes us, I’ll be sure to remember
I’ll run this city down from January to December
What a treasure, surely a tremendous pleasure
I can feel myself getting hot
Warm sensations shifting from my eyes to my thighs
You ask me if I’m free tonight
I wasn’t, wait… looks like you’re right
Oh, you’re as rare on this Earth, as platinum
As eye-bewildering as the stars above
Igniting intense infernos within my lustful lungs
Instantiating this desire, though we’re forever young
Isn’t the world so beautiful?
Look at how colorful and bright this life is
Isn’t it enticing? Nice, and surprising?
This universe that we were created for
You bet I’ll ride with you, pedal to the floor
You’re as rare on this Earth, as platinum
As eye-bewildering as the stars above
Igniting intense infernos within my lustful lungs
Instantiating this desire, though we’re forever young
You’re as rare on this Earth, as platinum
As eye-bewildering as the stars above
Igniting intense infernos within my lustful lungs
Instantiating this desire, though we’re forever young
Universe lays in your eyes
As blaze sparkling in the night
Pupils like the stark sky
Wondering where our future lies
