Kind to Yourself Lyrics by freekind.

Since Always and Forever

0

Uhm, I used to think I had to be tough all the time
You kinda have to be right in this world you feel like everybody is out to get you or something
But uh, you gotta be kind to yourself first
Be kind to yourself
Even when you mess up
Be kind to your self
Don't blind yourself
When you feel you're going down
Don't blind yourself
Ground yourself
When you feel like blowing up
Ground yourseld
Cause there is noone
There is no self
And there is no self without love
Be kind to yourself
Even whеn you mess up
Be kind to your self
Don't blind yoursеlf
When you feel you're going down
Don't blind yourself
Ground yourself
When you feel like blowing up
Ground yourseld
Cause there is noone
There is no self
And there is no self without love
Hell, I'm still not feelin' it
All these layers I'm peelin' it
All off
It takes time to get used to
All this love
It's hard to find
Need some time
On my own
Yeahhhhh
Years and years and years of all this hate
The inner battle on my plate with all my shadows
As a kid I dodn't matter to myself
Now I'm getting my heart off the shelf
Getting it off, dustin' it off, fillin' it up with love
Be kind to yourself
Even when you mess up
Be kind to your self
Don't blind yourself
When you feel you're going down
Don't blind yourself
Ground yourself
When you feel like blowing up
Ground yourseld
Cause there is noone
There is no self
And there is no self without love
Be kind to yourself
Even when you mess up
Be kind to your self
Don't blind yourself
When you feel you're going down
Don't blind yourself
Ground yourself
When you feel like blowing up
Ground yourseld
Cause there is noone
There is no self
And there is no self without love
Just gotta open my heart to it
It's gonna show me the way to it
24 years it's this way, screw it
It can be harder than that
Puttin' all of my mind
All of my strength to it
I been waiting too long
Pretending I'm strong
Now I'm grown
Imma do it (Imma do it all)
Affirmation
Exclamation (oh)
Revelation
It's a blessing (go)
Can you feel the tension breaking down
Nothing's breaking me now
New energy
Love is all around
Protecting me, redirecting me
I'm projecting me, loving me
Open up my heart, I gotta be
Be kind to yourself
Even when you mess up
Be kind to your self
Don't blind yourself
When you feel you're going down
Don't blind yourself
Ground yourself
When you feel like blowing up
Ground yourseld
Cause there is noone
There is no self
And there is no self without love
Cause there is noone
There is no self
And there is no self without love
