Anywhere but Here Lyrics by Freshman 15

Here’s to Feeling Good

0

The kids in this whole town just live a lie
They pretend to be so comfortable in small town life
And I'm so tired of these Atlantic skies
I just wanna smell Pacific air to feel alive
I'll quit the job that I so hate
All we need is just to get away
Why don't we just
Leave this place
This town ain't big enough for the both of us
California's nice this time of year
And it's anywhere but here
This peach state is overrated
And I'll admit I've always hated it
Who could love a place that made lifе so hard?
All I know is I can't stand this
Fucking town with nameless faces
Rеplace these redneck bars with the boulevard
All it does is rain here anyway
I can't afford this then any day
Why don't we just
Leave this place
This town ain't big enough for the both of us
California's nice this time of year
Let's pack your car and
Leave today
You'll fall asleep and I
I'll take the drive
West coast life is fun from what I hear
And it's anywhere but here
Anywhere but here
(Anywhere but here)
Out of sight
Out of mind
You know this place will forget us in no time
They're so involved with themselves
Out of sight
Out of mind
You know this place will forget us, forget us
They never gave a damn about us
Let's leave this place
This town ain't big enough for the both of us
California's nice this time of year
Let's pack your car and
Leave today
You'll fall asleep and I
I'll take the drive
West coast life is fun from what I hear
Why don't we just
Leave this place
This town ain't big enough for the both of us
California's nice this time of year
Let's pack your car and
Leave today
You'll fall asleep and I
I'll take the drive
West coast life is fun from what I hear
West coast life is fun from what I hear
And it's anywhere but here
