Better Days Lyrics by Fridayy

Some Days I’m Good, Some Days I’m Not

2025

[Verse 1]
\nMy daddy died, I died inside, my mama still cryin'
\nAll of us broken hearted, see my brothers teary eyed
\nGot on my knees, shit, it was hard, I'm tryna pray to God
\nBut I found myself all getting angry asking Him why
\nI know I'm not supposed to question You, but what's the reason?
\nI know you taught me not to walk by sight and what I see
\nThey see the money, see the fame, but they don't see me like , oh Lord
\nIt's gettin' cold outside, oh, will You cover me like oh, Lord
\nI know You the light, You the light when it gets dark
\nMust be on the other side, won't see you 'til we all gone
\nSeen my dog last breath, I realizеd we all gotta go someday
\nAnd I hope my pеople will remember me
\nI had put my blood and tears into these melodies
\nWriting songs and breakin' chains, so we can all be free
\nPut my story on front page, so all the youngin's see
\nEverything you taught me when the world is sittin' on your shoulders
\nOnly way is through the storm, that's how you get stronger
\nNow I see you breakin' down my mama
\nI hear the words grandma would tell her
\n
\n[Chorus]
\nBetter, better days
\nBetter days are coming, oh
\nBetter, better days
\nBetter days are coming
\n
\n[Verse 2]
\nAnd every dream, I had in life I already did
\nI'm not content, yeah, I'm just grateful
\nI know there's more to get, I'm one on one
\nAin't too many niggas make it out of here the chosen one
\nI know I'm only here because I'm God-sent
\nIt's to the point, I feel the Devil tryna get to me
\nI'm fightin' demons all alone, oh, I been losin' sleep
\nTryna keep my head from drownin', I been sinkin' deep
\nHolding on, losin' not an option when they count on me
\nKnow it will all get better, you made me believe
\nYou ain't right next to me, but you still see
\nI make you proud, I'm livin' out your legacy
\nBut I wish you were here, oh, tellin' me
\n
\n[Chorus]
\nBetter (Oh, better), better days (Oh, no)
\nBetter days are coming, oh
\nBetter (Oh, better days), better days
\nBetter days are coming (Are coming)
\nOh, better, better days
\nBetter days are coming (Yeah)
\nOh, better, better days (Yeah, oh, better days)
\nBetter days are coming
\n
\n[Outro]
\nOh, better, better days
\nOoh, my mama
\nBetter days are coming
\nI know it, I believe it, they coming
\nBetter, better days
\nWoah, better days
\nOh
\nBetter days are coming
\nShe said trouble won't last always
\nBetter, better days
\nOh
\nShe said trouble won't last always
\nBetter days are coming
\nWoah
\nMama said trouble won't last always
\nBetter, better days
\nOh
\nTrouble won't last always
\nBetter days are coming
\nMm\n\n
