Baby Mother Lyrics by George The Poet

The Chicken & The Egg

2014

[Verse]
This truth might surprise you but, all around the world, there's only two types of guys
The first type's always on the worst hype
He sees sex without a condom as his birthright
The second guys, they tend to recognise that playing that game is effectively wrecking lives
Now, aside from condoms, there's alternative contraception
That's when everyone's perception's all turned in the wrong direction
You can comfortably confirm that your partner's clean
And bareback doesn't makе them a heartless fiеnd
You trust 'em with no one's detective skills
And you start using the contraceptive pill
But that's deceptive, still
They should have told you it makes you gain weight in bold letters on the protective seal (ha)
Now somewhere along the lines, call it a communication breakdown
There's no condoms and you came off the pill
But these are mental notes you assume that they should take down
Have a lover's tiff then you wake up vex
Wrapping up a spliff, send a breakup text
On the phone to your girls saying how you've had enough
He comes round, you fight then have make up sex
But you had a situation with a guy, you don't deserve it
Gave you what you want and you [?] you know you're worth it
You're always making up but you never see new flowers
Now the clock's counting down 72 hours
Can't get it Thursday cos you get back from work late
Arrive late on Friday but that don't matter babes, just get it on Saturday
Get your girly on and see Ken
But the clinic closes early on the weekend
Outro: Jade Alexandra Schuneman
